Background

The IES Industry Forum is a new idea of the IEEE IES Society whose mission is to improve effectiveness of IES studies in industry by examining the technologies of the IES members in light of business markets that may use these technologies in an effective manner. Industry often needs to utilize market influences to determine how to apply industrial technologies in the context of different application environments. Taking a business approach in this forum expects our IES researchers to seek alignment of technologies and interests to market analysis; offering potential benefits to both researchers and business. This activity is expected to benefit the industry desire for participation in the society.
